There's a t-shirt I've seen on Cafe Press - something like, "Warning: Playwright. You May Be Portrayed As An Asshole For All Eternity."
I need me one of them shirts.
But, I'm happy to say no one is portrayed as an asshole in today's play - because they're all animals and not people. Except Barbara, who appeared in the second short play of the month Riverwalk Preserve.
Turtle Love was inspired by a true story told to me by the volunteer Barbara is based on. So, in a way it's true. I'm a playwright and whatever you tell me, or whatever I witness, may end up in a play.
