Well, it seems the Stamford theme is sticking - today's play is based on a horrific event in Stamford's history. And to be honest, I'm not sure how to proceed. I sent it in to 31 Plays in 31 Days as is - but if it's ever produced I'll probably change the details.
Stamford people know who and what I'm talking about when I say a teen was beaten to death with a 40 ounce beer bottle. Gosh, it's unimaginable to even type that.
An uncomfortable topic to say the least.
Let's hope tomorrow brings a better reflection of my hometown to paper.
